What People Are Saying

“Working with Adrian was a great experience. He is very bright and thoughtful, and takes genuine interest in you and your goals. He brings personal experience as a competitive cyclist and knowledge about the lore and history of cycling to his coaching. The comment about his attention to details is very apt. Adrian knows how to turn "marginal gains" and avoidance of mistakes into significantly better performance.”

“I struggled a bit with the decision to start working with a coach. It isn't cheap, and I've heard such a wide range of experiences among my friends who have worked with other coaches ("Literally saved my life" to "Training wasn't stimulating/was too easy, so I fired him"). So far, working with Adrian has without a doubt been 100% worth it and more. It is humbling as an athlete to admit how poor your training was in the past and how little you know, but Adrian has always treated me as more peer than client and made the learning process fun and non-threatening. I made a great decision and am excited to see the results as I grind through a long list of Ultras this year!”

“As someone who was completely new to racing, jumping in was overwhelming. Adrian helped make sense of the environment through seasoned experience to help cut through the fluff and focus on what is really important. Overall, Adrian provided a supportive environment and knows that finding joy in the process is just as important as reaching your goals.”

Adrian does a great job of scheduling me based on my schedule. My schedule doesn’t always allow and sometimes I need to do things differently to make it work. Adrian is working with me in the process, trying to get better at time and space management.

Very pleased with Adrian and his level of involvement, interest, and knowledge. Even if I weren’t training for something cycling-related, Adrian is super helpful to have as a coach in a more general sense. EX: he has offered suggestions on my work situation that helps me execute a more effective work life which helps with keeping a life/training balance

Adrian is outstanding, he’s thoughtful and has the experience as well as research behind him to offer great recommendations on training, racing, and he knows things specific for the events I’m doing, too. His thoroughness and level of interest are exactly what I was after when I signed up to work with him and he’s really hitting the mark (exceeding expectations for sure).
Sometimes I’ve felt things were a bit on the easy side. As the program progresses I’m realizing this is an intentionally slow build to correct some overuse tendencies I have developed. And I’m already seeing the benefit of lower intensity and increased (active) recovery time, improving my aerobic capacity and pace x relative effort while decreasing (at least minimizing) stress to my joints.

Adrian is very detail-oriented in prescribing workouts. He has also given me an extensive complimentary reading list that have been great at putting individual workouts, weekly blocks, and the season’s cycle into brilliant perspective.
He is amazing, everything I had hoped for in a coach and more. I was successful because of him.
